Occupational Health Medical Assistant needed for a full-time contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Austin, TX 78754.
This job is located at a medical clinic onsite at a manufacturing company and is only open for their employees. They offer urgent care type services.
Looking for those that are reliable and able to commit to a consistent schedule, Monday-Friday 9 : 00am to 5 : 00pm. Anticipating job to be about 1 to 3 months long (with potential for extension!).
Top Skills You Should Possess :
- Medical Assistant Diploma / Certificate (highly preferred to be nationally certified - CCMA, CMA, or RMA)
- Preferred experience in : Occupational Health, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Primary Care / Family Practice
What You'll Be Doing :
- Perform front and back office duties (primarily focused on front)
- Assist at the front desk to greet guests and enter them appropriately in the electronic system
- Take phone calls and schedule appointments
- Charting
- Room patients
- Immunizations
- Responsible for communication to many mid-level management and high level executives
What You Need to Bring to the Table :
- Current CPR / BLS
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Must be very professional with front office experience as you are going to be coordinating and providing follow ups with multiple groups of people
