The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing invoices timely and accurately, making sure invoices have appropriate authorization and coding and vendors are paid timely.
- Open and sort mail
- Scan invoices and distribute for authorization and coding as needed.
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approvals
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Enter invoice information into computer software.
- Process payments
- Maintain vendor files.
- Review and reconcile monthly vendor statements.
- Annual 1099 preparation, filing and reporting.
- Assist with audits as they relate to Accounts Payable functions.
Education/Licensure/Certifications/Qualifications:
- 2 years Accounts Payable experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience & Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong data entry skills
- Proficient 10 key skill
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Flexible team player who is willing to help others when needed.
