    • BRIEF DESCRIPTION / POSITION SUMMARY:

    As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders, evaluate and diagnose communication disorders, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising Speech Language Pathologist

    Responsibilities:
    • Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders
    • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments
    • Provide speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
    • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and parents, to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
    • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions
    Attend meetings and provide reports on student progress

    QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

    Current Illinois Professional Educator Licensure with an endorsement in speech language pathology required. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required.
