This is an opportunity to be part of a small global team of HR Operations specialists, supporting a growing Business of over 1,100 employees globally. Headquartered in London, the company has offices in 26 countries.
HR Operations works closely with other HR teams covering Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Reward, Change & Systems
This role will support employees in America, Canada, and Mexico (300 employees in multiple locations).
Onboarding responsibilities:
- Employment and contract letter generation via the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Creation of the employment record in the HRI system (Sage People)
- Management of the background employment screening process through our vetting vendor
- Ensuring all documentation is returned by the new joiner in a timely manner
- Responding to questions from the candidate, making them feel welcome
Lifecycle and Exit responsibilities will include:
- Being the first point of contact for employees regarding HR topics and either responding or passing on the question to the appropriate person and keeping the employee informed.
- Processing all employee lifecycle activities requested by line managers, employees and HR Business Partners such as family leave, changes to role or department etc, preparing the appropriate documents and updating the HRI system (Sage People).
- Processing termination cases, both voluntary and involuntary, creating the leaver documentation, updating the HRI system and ensuring that all stakeholders such as IT, the leaver and the line manager are aware of dates and their responsibilities.
- Semi-monthly Payroll administration, working hand in hand with Payroll to ensure that key information such as joiners, leavers, employee changes are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Benefits administration including responding to employee questions.
- Running reports as required for Payroll and HR operations projects.
- Managing non-standard leave updates in the HRI system and responding to leave questions from employees.
- Monitoring visa expiration cases and informing the HRBP in a timely manner, as well as tracking to ensure that the visa is extended, or steps are taken for employment termination.
- Supporting HRBPs and other HR colleagues with ad hoc requests
- Auditing key data to ensure the HRI system is 100% accurate.
- Production of current and former employee reference letters.
- 2-3 years of hands-on HR experience
- Requires hands-on experience in supporting YouGov employees with the North America - LATAM HR Lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, etc.)
- A degree in Human Resources or related degree preferred
- Intermediate IT skills, including HRIS and MS Office, especially Excel
- HR Operations experience preferred
- HR Shared Services experience would be an advantage, ideally in a corporate environment
- Exposure to other HR disciplines would be an advantage
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously but also as part of a team
- A friendly, helpful manner with good stakeholder management skills
- Able to remain calm under pressure
- Able to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Risk management awareness / good risk ‘radar’

- Bi-lingual - Proficient in Spanish - Reading, Writing Speaking
SALARY RANGE IS $65K - $70K
