What are the responsibilities and job description for the Area Director I position at Young Life?
Description:
Rainier Hills Young Life is seeking to hire an area director who will oversee the Enumclaw and Buckley communities of our area, and we hope this could be you! This is an area with a long-standing history and growth opportunities. We are looking for a candidate who loves developing community, has a heart for every kid and who has a strong desire to see students and adults grow in their hope for Jesus. Both Enumclaw and White River (Buckley) Young Life and WyldLife have rich histories of multi-generational impact. This position will oversee five active ministries along with Capernaum and YoungLives ministries that are ready to kick off again in the fall of 2022. There are also schools in the area and an adjacent reservation that have potential for growth and ministry development.
We currently have two exceptional staff, a small but committed committee, a growing, experienced and energized volunteer leadership community — all excited for the next addition to our team. The Rainier Hills area as a whole includes five small towns and shares borders on Pierce and King County that make up three school districts that have a rich history of more than 40 years of ministry. This is a beautiful area nestled up against the foothills of Mt. Rainier National Park and the Cascade Range. The area has had financial stability and support from several churches, businesses and individuals. Rainier Hills has great community support and has several Young Life areas nearby that provide great staff support as well. They love their Young Life area here!
If you join us, you are sure to have a legacy impact across our area that will see fruit for the next 40 years to come. If you want to be a part of our thriving Young Life community, keep reading!
