What are the responsibilities and job description for the Area Director I position at Young Life?
Description
Auburn is a smaller sized community in the Northern California Sierra Foothills with rural surrounding areas and schools that are even smaller.
Gold Country Young Life has a long history of ministry in the Auburn area and surrounding foothills. We are looking for someone who has an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities of smaller more rural communities, is willing to jump in with both feet, become a part of the community, and help our area go to new depths as we strive to walk alongside kids and build lifelong followers of Jesus. There is a strong foundation of ministry here that is primed to grow and continue to make a wider and deeper impact on kids, and we are searching for someone who can bring renewed vision and energy to help lead the team.
The area currently has a small but strong committee, solid financial base (candidates will need to be able to bring in a portion of finances through personal supporters), and active ministry happening at the local high school and middle school.
