Mission/Authority
This role serves the mission through methodology of ownership of products that add direct value to Field Staff and enable the five core functions of an area through product ownership. This position provides professional leadership, product coaching and guidance, and technical expertise that enables operational improvements in alignment with mission goals and field needs through product ownership, product development, organizational change management, and effectiveness and excellence in stewardship of mission resources.
Essential Duties:

Manage product development of products in the YL Connect product portfolio - as assigned.

Develop Objectives and Key Results for the assigned product portfolio in line with the overall Product Vision and use as guide to deliver high value, high impact products.

Responsible for the success of implementing new YL Connect products - as assigned.

Lead/facilitate the vetting of potential vendors for project/product development efforts.

Lead/guide vendor relationships and efforts toward Product Team/Project Team goals and desired outcomes.

Lead projects in design, build, release of YL Connect products.

Lead/facilitate executive updates of YL Connect products/projects.

Facilitate Executive buy-in for new YL Connect initiatives and funding.

Collaborate with Product Leads to ensure awareness and work together towards a consistent user experience across entire portfolio.

Provide supervision and leadership to assigned staff and steward their Individual Development Plans.
- Provide leadership to assigned Functional Leads and Support Leads to create a cohesive leadership team for each product in assigned portfolio.
- Evaluate and prioritize product ideas.

Work with delivery team to move prioritized ideas through delivery pipeline.

Coordinate product OCM, training and support for each release.

Understand platform capabilities and changes as they pertain to user experience and impact to existing functionality.

Oversee the complete product ownership operational and improvement lifecycle of assigned portfolio

- The anticipated salary for this position can range from $68,573-$87,544 depending on relevant experience and education.
Education:
-
Minimum of a Bachelors degree.
- Scrum, Agile and/or SAFE certification desired.
Experience and Qualifications Required For The Job:
-
Three years direct work experience in a lead project management, product development, business analysis and/or organizational change management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.

Certified Scrum Product Owner a plus

Previous experience/involvement in Young Life or a large non-profit a plus.

Experience with Salesforce

Experience with Product Management tools (ex. Jira, Azure, etc.)

Solid working knowledge of current technologies.

Strong written, interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
