Youth Shelters & Family Services is hiring a Part-time Overnight Youth Service Specialist at YSFS Transitional Living Program in Santa Fe, NM.

About Youth Shelters & Family Services:

Youth Shelters and Family Services (YSFS) delivers life-changing services to homeless, runaway, and in-crisis youth in northern New Mexico by providing shelter and addressing health, safety, education, and workforce opportunities so they may lead independent and meaningful lives.

Compensation:

  • $19.25/hr.

Responsibilities:

  • Would provide 15 minutes to 2 hour room checks in YSFS Transitional Living Program.
  • Would also need to do some light housekeeping, data entry, and providing necessary transport.
  • Provide direct care and supervision of clients in compliance with policies, procedures, contracts and licensing regulations.
  • May need to come in during the day for training on occasion.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a human service field and experience with the target population preferred, or some college and one year relevant work experience with youth, or a high school diploma and two years relevant work experience with youth.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to Word.
  • Must undergo fingerprinting, criminal records and background check and monthly driving record check. Current CPR and First Aid certificates (will train), driver's license and current auto insurance required.
  • New hires are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination status. Individuals are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after completing the COVID-19 vaccination series. Exceptions and considerations are granted in cases of EEOC stipulations for, but not limited to the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Rehabilitation Act, the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and as amended (inter alia) by the Pregnancy Discrimination Act (Title VII).
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to be insurable under agency auto policy to transport clients.

NEEDS TO BE AVAILABLE TO WORK Sunday through Wednesday the OVERNIGHT SHIFT AT YSFS TRANSITIONAL LIVING PROGRAM. This job posting is specifically searching for a candidate that can work overnight.

  • Shifts: Sunday evening, through Wednesday morning, hours are from 8pm to 6am. *

Compensation:

  • $15.25 per hour, plus $2.00 shift differential for any hours worked from 12am to 8am

Responsibilities:
