YWCA Columbus is searching for our next Accounting Specialist/Staff Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible the oversight of accounts receivable and collections as well as other accounting-related tasks.

What you’ll do:
· Responsible for all childcare payments made and processed through EZChild Track. Includes such tasks as follow-up on any amounts owed, expired credit cards, tax forms needed, and general payment inquiries, reconciliation of amounts received to payments posted and the bank account, coordination of Publicly Funded Childcare payments (PFCC)
· Verify accuracy of food counts and kitchen expenses on a monthly basis to send claims details to CACFP in accordance with the provisions of the grant.
· Record daily receipts/donations in MIP, manage bank deposits
· Prepare data files from Blackbaud Merchant services to import into MIP accounting software. Verify totals and resolve any rejected transactions.
· On a monthly basis, reconcile cash contributions with the Raiser’s Edge system comparing pledges and cash deposits with the development data manager.
· Prepare invoices for all special events agreements and individual pledges as directed.
· Other duties as assigned.
What we’re looking for:
· Associates degree or equivalent experience in accounting or business required
· 2 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience strongly preferred
· Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks well.
· Strong experience in Excel
· Experience in Accounting software
· Customer service attitude.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
