ZABS Place is seeking a full-time Director of Operations to oversee and coordinate all operations at our thrift boutique and employment training center for individuals with intellectual and developmental differences. The Director of Operations will play a vital role in the growth and success of ZABS Place, working closely with the founders and staff members to ensure smooth operation of all aspects of the organization. The Director of Operations will serve as the internal leader of the organization and oversee the day-to-day operations as guided by the strategic goals. They will be responsible for evaluating current processes and progress, creating and implementing plans to increase performance, supervising departments and providing constructive feedback, prioritizing the ZABS Place values and strong team-oriented culture. This role requires significant leadership experience, operational finesse, retail expertise, proficiency in finance, as well as a passion for high-impact, multifaceted work. It is essential that efficiency should not replace the relationship-focused atmosphere at the heart of ZABS Place.
Qualifications:

*Minimum of five years leadership experience, preferably in retail/resale environment, with a focus on operations management *Strong knowledge and understanding of the thrift industry, including donation management, inventory control, and sales optimization *Multi-location experience *Proven track record of driving sales growth *Experience with retail and e-commerce platforms and online sales strategies *Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail *Effective communication, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders *Familiarity with point-of-sale software *Bachelor’s degree preferred
Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
