Job Description
Piper Companies is hiring a SOC Analyst, Level 2 for a Cloud Based Cyber Security company located in RTP, NC. The ideal candidate for this role is eager and excited to learn, and also able and willing to mentor and train others. This role requires the candidate to be in the RTP office 5 days a week and the preferred shifts are 9am - 6pm or 10am-7pm ET.

Responsibilities for the SOC Analyst, Level 2:
- Analysis of security incidents
- Proactively analyze event data
- Identify potential threats to world wide customers
- Deliver demonstrable customer security value value through products, services, and partnerships
Requirements for the SOC Analyst, Level 2:
- 2 Years of experience in cyber security or security engineering
- Experience working with SIEM
- Experience in a customer facing security role
- Proven experience mentoring, leading or supervising security analysts
- Prior experience working in a shift based environment
