ZAGG is looking for a Digital Commerce Merchandiser to join our marketing team and manage an exciting product portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the product merchandising strategy that includes Go-to-Market planning, promotional merchandising, managing product categorization & taxonomy, search result pages, cross-sell & up-sell strategy, and overall visual merchandising. They will have a passion for great user experience and will enjoy evaluating and optimizing our customer journeys online.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Catalog management and marketing.
o Responsible for accuracy of all products on site, including set up, pricing, categorization, improving product sort order, up-sell/cross-sell, and adjusting rules for internal search.
o Improvement and daily maintenance of product attributes, product tags, product imagery, site promotions, and pricing.
o Drive onsite revenue generation through up-sell/cross-sell strategies that leverage product placement and recommendation engines.
o Continually evaluate, test, and improve merchandise taxonomy.
o Partner internally to update the marketing calendar and execute marketing tactics online based on key brand stories, new product releases, seasonality, forecasts, selling trends, and available inventory. Collaborate on exclusive product offerings site experience.
o Have deep expertise of the brand, its consumers, and its products to present a compelling story online and maximize revenue and conversion.
o Responsible for communicating inventory positions of top products or products featured in web content for homepage, landing pages, category pages and site promotions to ensure all digital marketing efforts are well supported.
o Consistently look for opportunity to remove friction throughout the online buying process.
o Partner internally to manage SKU assortment and product life cycle to ensure the existing product catalogue is up to date with the latest releases, best-selling models, warranty specific items, and discontinued products.
o Imports, exports, and maintains data on sites as part of the data strategy.
o Performing ongoing review of website content to ensure proper product presentation and data integrity. 

• Insights and analysis
o Leverage website analytics (Google Analytics) to understand performance and customer interaction with categories, featured product placement, and general online shopping experiences to help identify opportunities and wins.
o Analyzing sales reports, heatmaps, and other data to drive improvements, seeking insights within cart behavior, navigation, and other key areas to increase website conversion.
o Review and provide insight to business owners on KPI’s.
o Analyze site metrics and strategize new ways of executing category offers, cross-sell/up-sell strategies to drive volume.
o Provide ideas and insight for how to better inform and convert customers on landing pages, homepages, site taxonomy and other customer experiences during the shopping funnel.
o Proposes A/B testing experiments to UX team to increase conversion.

• Cross department coordination o Work cross functionally with Product Managers, Brand Marketing, Creative & copy, User Experience, and Digital Marketing.
o Identify and reduce internal process or system inefficiencies.
o Collaborate with marketing team to drive strategies across programs.
o Communicate online updates and initiatives directly with Customer Service to enhance visibility and awareness.
o Work closely with NPI stakeholders to coordinate digital campaigns to support product launches.
o Streamline processes and manage SKU coverage of Warranty items.
o Collaborate with International team member.s

SKILLS:

• Experienced in tactical and strategy website merchandising.
• Demonstrable knowledge of eCommerce landscape and online retail.
• Interest or background in consumer electronics a plus.
• Natural collaborator, with strong communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to work with a wide range of internal departments.
• Proactive, confident self-starter with positive energy, customer-oriented attitude, and excellent multitasking ability.
• Highly organized with an attention to detail that is comfortable in the depths of SKU and stock level managements.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 years’ experience in a product merchandising role, with eCommerce experience preferred.
• Intermediate-level Excel and above.
• Digital Commerce CMS experience• Advanced analytics skills - Google Analytics/ other web analytics experience a plus.
• Beneficial: Magento, Big Commerce, Google Analytics/Data Studio/Optimize, onsite recommendation engines (i.e. Bloomreach, Adobe Target, etc) Power BI, Microsoft Office
