PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS:
The electrical supervisor is responsible for overseeing the field electrical operations, workflow, the performance of the crew as well as providing support. They are accountable for supervising and coordinating all aspects of our electrical service department. This position requires regular interaction with personnel from all levels of operations, sales, and accounting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily work done by members of the Electrical Service Crew.
- Plan with, and supervise, service electricians to determine necessary materials, tools, authorizations, etc. to efficiently and effectively complete work.
- Supervise the workflow and performance of the Electrical Service Crew and identifying areas that need improvement.
- Enforce the project budgets by providing the detailed "hand-off" for each project to review with the field electrical crew.
- Create and manage project schedules for current projects and, at times, assist in directing and scheduling of manpower.
- Must have the ability to prepare detailed electrical estimates based on limited information, including but not limited to electrical, controls and low voltage systems.
- Prepare and obtain estimates for vendors and subcontractors as needed.
- Must have the ability to generate RFI’s (Request for Information) when appropriate.
- Maintain open connections with your customer, make frequent site visits to ensure we are providing personalized services.
- Follow up with customers as necessary to answer any questions and requests that arise.
- Provide leadership to motivate and engage all workers of the Electrical Service Crew.
- Develop technical and managerial skills within the Electrical Service Crew.
- Ensuring business goals, deadlines and performance standards are met.
- Maintain compliance with State and Federal codes and safety regulations pursuant to the NEC and OSHA guidelines.
- Ensure all safety measures and regulations are considered, as accident prevention and worker safety are high priority.
- Willing and able to work beyond 40 hours per week and travel when required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- The successful candidate must have a minimum of 8-years’ experience in the electrical industry and be a highly skilled and experienced leader capable of running a crew of 6 workers.
- Deep knowledge of industrial electrical including tooling, material, techniques, theory, etc.
- General knowledge of the food, beverage, dairy, personal care, and pharmaceutical industries.
- General knowledge of PLCs and control wiring systems.
- Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, one-line diagrams and P&ID’s.
- Strong working knowledge and adherence to job site safety.
- Proven ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and prioritize to focus on critical issues as they arise while continuing to meet long-term goals.
- Skilled in problem solving and conflict resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extremely hard worker that requires little supervision with a strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Carry a high standard of integrity and professionalism.

Pay: $77,486.77 - $93,317.41 per year
