What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heat Press Operator position at Zamage?

At Zamage we create high quality apparel. Our attention to detail and timely delivery of many forms of Heat press materials and transfers has made us stand out above our competition. Training Provided.
We offer several modes of decoration – one of which is made possible by the Production Apparel Presser.
This position requires the following traits in order to be effective:
· An attention to detail (Must be able to count, keep track of lists, detect mistakes, and recognize errors. Must have a good eye for color)

· A confidence to “speak up” if orders are not clear or other questions arise
· A pride in their production
· Follow production work order documentation
· A timeliness with work arrival, but also an awareness of deadline times
· Be able to stand for the duration of their scheduled shift and lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30 lbs.
This person is responsible for:
· · Learning correct temperatures, times, and pressure to create a beautiful long-lasting, decorated garment.
· Reading/understanding order forms so that correct garments are decorated with the correct method
· Organizing/cleaning the Apparel Pressing work station
· Sorting and bagging orders
· Sorting garments as they arrive from our suppliers. Garments should be place with their order forms and in their correct area.
· Allocating time and resources to determine completion dates
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
