Essential Job Functions
- Greets all guests in a friendly and helpful manner and in a timely fashion
- Offers information and suggestions about our menu to the guest
- After the guest is done ordering repeat the order to the guest
- When giving guests their order please repeat the order and show them their meal
- When in the dining area greet and assist guests
- Responsible for accurately processing cash and credit card transactions
- Ensures cash drawer balances at the end of the shift
- Processes orders to the kitchen to ensure their preparation
- Expedites orders and assembles items needed for the completion of the order
- Communicates with Team Members and Management throughout the shift regarding the status of orders and availability of the product
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Maintains dishes and other wares
- Maintains guest contact areas in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner (includes but is not limited to tables, chairs/booths, floors, counters, and restrooms)
- Stocks/restocks items
- Receive and stores food supplies
- Removes trash and cleans garbage containers
- Rotates product according to “First In, First Out” to maintain shelf-life standards.
- Understands and complies with food safety and temperature standards.
