Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the marketing team with administrative and tactical efforts. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines, and creative problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, is passionate about better-for-you products, is hyper-engaged, is able to work well cross-functionally, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You will report directly to the SVP of Brand Marketing, and support the team holistically, which includes working with the SVP of Engagement, Creative Director, Director of Content, and Senior Graphic Designer to support various marketing initiatives ranging from social media marketing to email marketing to design project management. You’ll also work cross-functionally with our sales team, customer experience team, operations team, product team, and external agencies to bring new products to market and grow the brand awareness of DYPER.
Responsibilities for Marketing Coordinator
- Assist in coordinating content and assets for digital marketing campaigns
- Assist in coordinating marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating schedules, and ordering marketing collateral
- Assist in creating, proofreading, and editing copy for various marketing channels, ensuring a consistent voice and style
- Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts
- Assist in preparing presentations and reports for the marketing team
- Help manage relationships with external vendors such as influencers, content creators, press outlets, and manufacturers with timely communication and product requests
- Attend and assist in coordinating internal and external marketing meetings when needed.
- Actively engage with our social media community, addressing questions, participating in dialogues, and fostering strong relationships with users, creators, and brands.
Qualifications for Marketing Coordinator
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field
- 1-2 years of related marketing experience, preferably in CPG
- Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
- Must have a high level of creativity
- Occasional travel may be required
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to be in our Scottsdale office 2-3 days a week.
- Must be able and willing to drive a vehicle in the Phoenix metro area.
- Must be able to perform essential functions (with or without an accommodation) without posing a "direct threat" to the health and safety to self or others.
