Zapproved is looking for a driven Product Owner to work on one of our high-performing, SaaS product teams in a fast-paced, collaborative, B2B environment. You’ll be part of a fully empowered scrum team to ship products that are building a better justice system. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Break down Epics into User Stories that are detailed, written from a User Persona/Use Case perspective, with clear acceptance criteria
- Manage feature backlog including prioritization and requirements definition
- Collaborate with UI/UX team, product scrum team, and product leaders to establish workflows,goals, and deliverable timelines
- Collaborate in the Scrum process, including running backlog refinement and ensure the product backlog is ready for the next sprint
- Work with Engineering and internal stakeholders on the bug triage process, assessing impact, ensuring clear communication, customer impact, etc.
- Ensure that Scrum team deliverables meet agreed-upon standards for quality and non-functional requirements, and that the products meet the stated business need
- Work with Documentation and Product team members to ensure the product functionality is appropriately documented, including knowledge base articles and release notes
- Provide Product Managers with technical information coming out of the Scrum process that may impact the product backlog or needs to be considered on a future roadmap
What You’ll Need:
- 1-2 years of professional experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst or similar, ideally in a SaaS company
- Strong understanding of Scrum methodology and Agile SDLC
- Ability to translate functional requirements to technical audiences to ensure minimum viable features are shipped
- Ability to identify common process issues and provide solutions to reduce communication failures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
What Would Be Nice:
- 3 years of experience
- Specific experience in B2B SaaS
- CSPO, CSM, and/or Pragmatic Marketing Certification
- Familiarity with ediscovery
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
We are interested in every qualified candidate with authorization to work in the United States. However, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Compensation:
The anticipated salary for this position will be $67,914 - $88,200. Individual base pay is determined by a variety of factors including the experience and qualifications of a candidate, as well as internal and external equity.
