Purpose
Assisting the General Manager in maintaining company standards, policies and procedures throughout the entire store with effective communication between departments, regional team and corporate office.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, guide and mentor the tasks of the Visual Commercial and Store Management teams.
- Guarantee that the merchandise and store image meet corporate standards.
- Monitor the store's sales and control the budget of the hours based on productivity.
- Support the overall appearance of the store by managing work/facility orders including fixture updates in addition to décor and marketing.
- Coordinate the organization of inventories with Head of Store Operations.
- Strong scheduling management and communication with staff (Orquest) Authorizing PTO/time off requests, absences and security procedures.
- Resolves customer service issues in the moment and follows up with corresponding corporate department as needed.
- Organize daily resources and priorities of the store.
- Communicate with HR and Recruitment store hiring needs based on budget and productivity.
- Identifies high potential employees to participate in LEAP Potential Program.
- Conducts onboarding for new hires in addition to training and development of the team.
- Promotes the tidiness and cleanliness of the store by leading through example.
- Comply with the company's H&S policy ensuring the correct functions of the store's safety equipment.
- Monitoring the store for potential risk or hazard. Ensures the company's risk prevention measures are followed.
- Working with other departments and regional team.
Personal Profile
- Fashion retail managerial experience required (2yrs min)
- Excellent customer service experience
- Results-based approach
- Excellent analysis, prioritization and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and delegate tasks
- Articulate with excellent communication skills.
- Strong numerate and literacy skills.
- Energetic & enthusiastic with good interpersonal skills.
