We are looking to hire friendly, safe drivers for our expanding business. Hours may vary but looking for someone who is typically available Monday- Friday/Saturday or Sunday. Person will be driving our vehicles.

A Day in the Life of a P&D Driver

Broken down into three parts 1. Picking up and Loading Packages of ranging sizes, weights, and quantities on to Truck at the terminal, complete pre-trip inspection 2. Safely Deliver to residential or commercial properties on your route using company-provided technologies (Route Optimizer & Scanners) 3. Returning company truck to terminal once all stops are complete, complete post-trip inspection. A Day may include:

· To follow up immediately on any disputed or mis-delivered packages.

· Completing weekly log sheets of time worked and mileage driven

· To show flexibility for varied work areas dependent upon volume and workforce

· Adopting a Safety First mindset

We’re committed to working as a team to keep you and our community safe as we service the Lafayette area._ We pay a range of $600-$750 / week, pay is commensurate with experience. In addition_, employees are eligible for annual performance bonuses, healthcare, and paid vacation benefits. Top performers are rewarded based on safety, average stop count, and dependability.

Requirements:

· Commercial Driving Experience (Uber / Lyft is ok): 1 year (Required)

· Clean Motor Vehicle Report & Conduct Background Check

o No DUI/DWI

o No speeding in excess of 15 mph over the posted speed limit

· Over 21 years old

· Successfully pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen (Paid by Employer)

· Ability to safely lift/move up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck

· Driver’s License

· US Work Authorization, we E-Verify

· Ability to read, speak, and written English

Schedule:

· Daily Time may vary on number of stops and packages assigned to the truck daily.

· Please ask about what schedules we’re looking for at the time of interview, some options include

o Weekdays exclusively

o Weekdays (1-2) weekend day

o Weekends only

o Contingency (On-Call) Drivers

Job Details

· Salary: $435-$750 per week, commensurate with experience
