We’re currently hiring for Special Education Paraprofessionals. In this role you will support licensed teachers with academic adaptations, self-care, and social / behavioral needs.
Key Duties : Assisting licensed staff in the classroom Aid students in meeting their individualized education plan (IEP) Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning Work with individuals and / or small groups when activities and assignments are presented Provides support for students in crisis Provide personal care support as needed Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student's learning experiences and support them as needed Minimum Requirements : High School Diploma Experience working with children Preferred Requirements : First Aid & CPR Certification Previous experience working in special education Crisis prevention training Behavioral Technician or PCA experience Additional Requirements : Additional requirements include US Work Authorization.
