Position Overview
ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. ZENETEX is seeking a self-motivated, energetic, self-starter that is eager to support our CH-53 Engineering and Logistics Team. As a Logistics Support Specialist, on MCAS Cherry Point, NC, this position will be supporting the CH-53 Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) effort.
Description
- Development and maintenance of CH-53K EBOM spreadsheets by aircraft system/subsystem utilizing the CH-53K Organizational Integrated Electronic Technical Manual (IETM).
- Validate and populate parts information in the CH-53K EBOM spreadsheet utilizing various DoD and NAVAIR Logistics Support sites. (i.e. One Touch, WebFlis, FedMall)
- Research all components listed on the CH-53K EBOM to ensure they are properly provisioned based on theassigned Source, Maintenance and Recoverability (SM&R) code.
- Generate a Technical Publication Discrepancy Report (TPDR) to correct the CH-53K IETM as discrepancies are identified.
- Track SM&R Code change request using an ACCESS Database.
- Communicate and coordinate efforts with engineers and logisticians.
- Provide quality customer support.
Qualifications
BS or BA degree. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: o Associate’s Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience that meets the experience requirements for Junior Logistician (in addition to the below required 1 year), OR a High School Diploma/GED plus an additional six (6) years of logistics support/maintenance experience that meet the experience requirements for Junior Logistics (in addition to the below required 1 year) may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.At least one (1) year of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include logistics principles, practices, and processes.
Desired experience:
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Prior Navy/Marine Corp aviation supply or maintenance experience; highly preferred.
- Strong organization, problem-solving, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills.
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Security Clearance
- This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.
