What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician (FT) position at Zenith Global, LLC?
JOB TYPE: Full Time (8 hrs. Monday to Friday)
BASIC FUNCTION:
- Performs duties associated with maintenance of equipment daily.
Performs related duties as assigned by management, up to and including:
- Meeting EHS requirements
- Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- When you report to work, you will ensure that you are in proper uniform as prescribed by Zenith's dress code, and GMPs and have all required tools and needed equipment.
- Performs job duties in a safe, organized, clean, and efficient manner.
- Ensures continued work order system placement and support team involvement.
- Assists in scheduling machinery PM schedule and performance.
- Maintains and performs treatment of equipment, including but not limited to:
- Production and auxiliary equipment, PM schedules, and related equipment.
- Performs electrical and electronic maintenance on equipment drives, motors, panels, PLC and wiring
- Processes any maintenance concerns and problems, and discusses them with management.
- Follows SOP for maintaining a safe and clean environment for Food Grade Products.
- Maintains the inventory of parts and places orders with management approvals.
- Monitors and maintains accurate maintenance records, including daily and PM logs.
- Requisitions for maintenance, cleaning, and janitorial supplies for equipment
- Reviews current procedures and recommends changes to improve operational efficiency.
- Diagnoses and repairs breakdowns on machinery in a safe and timely manner.
- Supports and repairs pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Able to work alone and as a team member
- Recommends policies and procedures for maintenance tasks/project implementation.
- Practices Lock Out / Tag Out safety procedures.
- Attends training programs for onsite or offsite as directed by management.
- Maintains a clean, safe, organized working area before and after the project is complete.
- Work overtime as needed for companies’ objectives. The support team needs.
- Will be available on call for after hours, weekends, and holidays based on the production schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of mechanical maintenance experience or equivalent combination of training and experience in Industrial Mechanics
- Good communications skills
- Skilled in industrial maintenance repairs, planning, organizing, scheduling, and monitoring the work capabilities of others.
- Needs to be Safety and Security Consciousness.
- Must be able to handle required lifting weight.
