OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW
ZeroFox seeks a Staff Accountant to support the Finance team in monitoring and reporting the financial health of our organization. In this role, you will play an active role in maintaining the financial records of ZeroFox, including areas such as revenue, sales commissions, equity, among others. Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting with the Company’s SEC filings, including quarterly and annual reports.
The ideal candidate is a team player who is eager to learn and progress their career.
\n- Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring consistent compliance with the company’s policies and procedures, timely recording of accounting transactions, and proper maintenance of subsidiary ledgers
- Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
- Drive the monthly close processes for responsible accounts
- Provide analyses on financial trends and fluctuations
- Help maintain effective internal control environment
- Help with various process improvement initiatives
- Assist with deliverables for quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Prepare supporting schedules for quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) reports
- Support and collaborate with other departments to fulfill responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA license (or have demonstrated meaningful progress to obtain CPA license in the near future)
- Relevant experience, including Big-Four/national public accounting firm and/or other public company experience, typically obtained in 2 years
- Team player who is organized, proactive, self-directed, conscientious and assumes accountability and responsibility for specific performance and work product
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
- Ability to succeed in a rapid-growth and fluid environment
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP
- Advanced skills using MS Office (especially Excel)

- This position will report to the Director of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting
- This role is based out of our office in Baltimore, MD
- This role requires occasional work on nights and weekends, as needed
