SFMC Technical Architect
6 - 12 Month Contract
Background
- Direct experience working within SFMC using AMPScript, Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder
- Strong experience in email campaign execution and development experience, which could include a mix of architecture, design, and hands-on coding and hand-on use of Email Service Platforms (ESPs)
- Experience with SQL scripting for automated and triggered deployments, direct code requirements for partners, and managing QA/UAT testing

Job Responsibilities
- Build, test and deploy marketing campaigns including personalized and dynamic content across the different Studios in SFMC
- Set up and test complex email campaigns with dynamic content, and SMS messaging.
- Demonstrate a strong command of technical details to translate proposed solutions into functional specifications
- Maintain and monitor data quality, performance and hygiene
- Be able to work with other business units and share learnings / best practices with the desire to educate and drive results
- Troubleshoot and support implemented Salesforce applications.
- Leverage Journey Builder to deliver multi-touch communications.
- Create SQL queries in Automation Studio to segment audiences
- Maintain best practices for Marketing Automation Platforms, including troubleshooting, naming conventions, list management, etc.
- Provide troubleshooting / first line of support for stakeholders working on deliverables and encountering errors or technical issues with SFMC platform
- Ensure flawless execution of marketing campaigns in SFMC
- Leverage marketing automation tools to develop transactional, promotional, and informational content strategies that maximize customer retention
Requirements
- Direct experience working within SFMC using AMPScript, Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder
- Strong experience in email campaign execution and development experience, which could include a mix of architecture, design, and hands-on coding and hand-on use of Email Service Platforms (ESPs)
- Experience with SQL scripting for automated and triggered deployments, direct code requirements for partners, and managing QA/UAT testing
- SFMC certifications including Marketing Cloud Admin, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, or Salesforce Admin (must have if no degree)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities concurrently
- Ability to adapt to change and operate in a dynamic environment
