Job description
Responsibilities:
- Predelivery inspection on new vehicles (PDI).
- Straightening and washing vehicles on lot.
- Proper setting up and shutting down for the day.
- Maintaining vehicles in showroom.
- Emptying trash around the lot.
- Gas up, wash inside and out of sold units.
- Courtesy Lincoln wash for Service Customers.
- Follow special instructions for used units that will go on the lot.
- Detailing vehicles.
- Cleaning rentals that are returned.
Skills/requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Strong communication skills that allow you to communicate effectively with the Ziems Sales team, PDI management and crew.
- Experienced driving for tight spaces, backing up, parking and maintaining the car lot.
- Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance.
Physical requirements:
Position is based in a normal shop environment. Occasional physical activity such as reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping to inspect repairs, and lifting and carrying objects over 50lbs. Exposure to fumes, chemicals, dust, along with high levels of noise. Subject to weather conditions both inside and outside. Required to wear protective equipment when necessary. Occasional sedentary work. Must have visual acuity to determine the accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
