About the role
As Zillow Group’s Director of Equity & Belonging, you will be responsible for leading teams, implementing and influencing data strategy, employee connections, and team operations. Providing internal diversity, equity and inclusion thought leadership and partnership across cross-functional teams to drive and actively move our overall strategy forward. You will work directly with senior leadership, partner across the people organization (HR) and with other collaborators to lead and deliver integrated solutions to embed equity and belonging, behavioral change competencies, concepts, thinking, systems, and processes into the business. Actively enabling employees to build and perpetuate a culture of equity and belonging that leads with empathy and values the complexity of all our identities. This role will report to the Head of Equity & Belonging.
In Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City the standard base pay range for this role is $157,900.00 - $252,200.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.Who you are

- Implement and be grounded in leading practice DEI research, tools, discovery, and knowledge. Communicate diversity, equity, and inclusion trends, issues, and opportunities that will impact the business
- Find opportunities to analyze, benchmark, and leverage data to inform people insights and best methodologies within the team and in support of the business to influence and build consensus, drive accountability, transparency, and meaningful outcomes
- Partner cross functionally with key partners and peers within HR and other business collaborators. Establish strong relationships with peers and senior leaders to fully understand their experience, needs, and opportunities for collaboration and partnership to develop and align on inclusive and equitable practices
- Practice operational rigor. Build structured business and communication processes. Develop and maintain project plans, manage communications, proactively identify and address risks and opportunities as well as determine alternative ways to achieve project/program goals
- Support operational strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and collaboration within the overall Equity & Belonging team. Triage, identify risks and seek solutions.
- Oversee the effective governance and operations of the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
- Manage E&B internal and external communication strategies
- Facilitate and/or moderate internal and external DEI engagements as needed
Who You Are

Preferred Experience and Education:
- 10 years of relevant experience with progressive responsibility in executing on diversity, equity, and inclusion practice
- Experience within HR, consulting, organizational development, L&D, strategy development, change management and project/program management
- Degree or equivalent practical experience in organizational psychology, organizational development, talent management, HR, or related field or any additional certifications and/or training relevant to the role
