Material Handler (1st Shift)

Zinus USA is looking for candidates interested in working in a manufacturing environment.

Job: Line Operator.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday - Friday.
• 1st Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm.

Overtime is REQUIRED until 5:30 pm. ALL Employees will be paid time and a half.

STARTING HOURLY RATE:

• Starting at $15.00
• Will have3,6,9,12 month increase. (More than 15% increase throughout the year)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Transferring unused or excess products to the foaming team to sustain an exact log.
• Monitoring and preparing material in advance to expedite the packing schedule.
• Aiding co-workers with replacing PE
• Operating adhesive equipment by replacing, applying, and adjusting adhesive.
• Regularly checking IR, Blades positions, and Press machine to ensure accuracy.
• Assisting in the foam block area.
• Preparing FR Barrier and FR Thread according to SKU requirements.
• Reporting any issues that involve incoming material schedule.
• Coordinating with packing team to ensure products are received undamaged

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assumes other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Manager.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Skill in using hand and power tools.
• Basic data entry skills and calculation abilities.
• Experience with machine operation preferred.
• Strong understanding of using hand and power tools.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to complete daily tasks.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
