Reliability Engineer:
Zion Talent Partners is currently seeking a Reliability Engineer for one of its clients in the Stockton, CA area. In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing the performance and reliability of process and packaging operations, with a focus on overall equipment effectiveness. This will involve evaluating maintenance planning, implementing problem-solving techniques, analyzing equipment operations, delivering technical training, and applying predictive maintenance strategies.
This is what you will do:
- Work with engineering, training, and operations to ensure reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations.
- Develop and implement technical training programs for Operator Based Maintenance, including skills matrices and competency assessments.
- Contribute to design specifications, installation procedures, and commissioning plans.
- Assist in evaluating equipment and service suppliers.
- Oversee final validation of new installations, including factory and site acceptance tests.
- Lead reliability initiatives for equipment, processes, utilities, and control systems.
- Develop and refine asset maintenance plans, including preventive maintenance tasks and predictive testing methods.
- Address recurring operational issues through engineering solutions, applying techniques like statistical process control, reliability modeling, fault tree analysis, and root cause analysis
- Build SOP's to reduce downtime in the plant
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).
- 3-10 years of maintenance reliability engineering experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proven skills in process improvement, problem-solving, project management, and employee development.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong mathematical, verbal, and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with diverse audiences, from staff to executives.
- Demonstrated ability to train, motivate, and communicate across all organizational levels.
Compensation: $115,000-$127,000 plus bonuses.
