ZMC Hotels, a hotel management company that supports and directs 43 hotels across 16 states. We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our team and implement various human resources programs. This position is based out of ZMC Hotels Regional Office in Duluth, Minnesota, and will report to the VP Human Resources.
Our HR Manager must have a broad knowledge of human resources functions including hotel recruiting efforts, onboarding and training, and handling employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors. If you have a passion for HR and are familiar with labor law, this is the place to be. Your role as an HR Manager will be far from one-dimensional. You’ll act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to ZMC Hotels and the 43 hotels that we support.
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
- Provide support to employees and management in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations
