Position Summary: The US Director of Finance acts as a business advisor to the US Vice President and all functional Itamar US leaders. This position leads the US Finance team and closely monitors proper accounting and fulfillment of procedures and processes. Primary Responsibilities: Directly supervise employees in the ZOLL Itamar US Accounting department. Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Create an environment of continuous skill development of subordinates. These include communication, supervisory, and analytical skills. Develop relevant career tracks for relevant/financial backgrounds. Maintain a financial organization that is approachable and from which other business leaders seek advice. Understand sales strategy, and sales processing systems, and provide relevant economical and financial advice to sales and marketing leadership. Analyzes and maintains a dashboard of critical financial information throughout the organization to identify opportunities and gaps for the Itamar US business. Support divisional VP finance when preparing business case analytics for new product and technology development. Prepare Itamar US annual budgets including supporting documentation and justification. Work with the local and divisional management team to ensure understanding and compliance with the budget process. Engage in and promote leadership in the improvement of the US financial and relevant IT systems. Prepare monthly financial and forecast reports for Itamar US Develops internal accounting controls and accounting procedures and policies to ensure the accuracy of information provided by all departments. Maintains quality control over financial stages and controls with no material control weaknesses on significant deficiencies. Coordinate communication with all relevant tax authorities. Prepare actual vs. budget reports and closely monitor spends. Prepare Sales Tax Reports in compliance with any applicable tax authorities. Responsibility for sales commission calculation and implementation including ensuring proper targets and payments. Provide finance sign off for any Itamar US agreement prior to execution. Responsible for Collections from US customers Responsible for payments to vendors Responsible for employee expense reports, enforcement of policies. Payments to employees Responsible for Sunshine act reporting Special projects as designated by the US Vice President Qualifications: BS Degree in Accounting, CPA required. 12 years of accounting experience, 5 years management related experience Experience with Microsoft Dynamics - preferred.
