Industrial Maintenance Electrician (CNC & PLC)

Position Description:

· Electricians with Journeyman's card, or 7 years of direct electrician experience.

· Must have experience in a manufacturing environment on manufacturing equipment – NOT facilities maintenance.

· A qualified journeyman electrician with construction or facilities experience is not a fit.

· Electric work must be on machines in the manufacturing environment, in any industry (automotive preferred)

· Experience industrial maintenance, electrical maintenance, high voltage (medium voltage), 480V, 120V, down to 24 volt DC circuitry.

· PLC experience, Allen Bradley preferred

· Familiar with going through the parameters of Program Frequency Drives (controls engineers help with this but familiarity is important)

· This is a CNC Machining facility, so having CNC experience is strongly preferred.

· Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines preferred.

· We will consider candidates heavier on PLC's and lighter on CNC's or vice versa, who meet all other qualifications

Required skills and capabilities:

· Min 7 years of troubleshooting proximity switches, light screens and safety circuits, cables, ethernet, etc., experience

· Min 7 years of experienced with PLCs, CNCs, Frequency Drives, motors, and associated circuitry

· Familiar with going through the parameters of Program Frequency Drives

· Journeyman's card
