Job Description:
- This position is for 3rd Shift Maintenance and Repair Technician.
- This is an hourly position that does not involve direct management of people.
- In this role, you will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Maintain optimal utilization of plant equipment.
Responsibilities:
- PLC troubleshooting, understanding electrical prints and schematics to facilitate repairs of equipment.
- Read, follow and understand electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings, blueprints, schematics, service manuals and manufacturer's specifications.
- Help maintain spare part inventory accuracy.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in machine repair of hydraulic trim presses, vacuum forming, robotic trim, extrusion equipment, air compressors, chillers and assembly equipment
- Minimum 5 years of experience and related course work or Journeyman Machine Repair
- Standard knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to use email functions on the computer.
- Standard knowledge of tools including, welding, mills, lathes, cutting equipment, metal shear and brake, measuring and drill tools.
- Ability to obtain Hi-Lo Certification
