What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at Zobility?
Job Description:
Performs and verifies visual, dimensional, electrical, mechanical, environmental and chemical, inspection functions relating to source, first article, receiving, in process, final and test operations using company or customer supplied drawings, equipment and/or procedures.
Activities are detail oriented.
Responsibilities:
Reviews and approves inspection/test data.
Able to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and procedures.
Interface with customer/Government source inspection personnel
Maintenance of inspection records in accordance with company procedures
Generate and assist in the corrective/preventive action process.
Understand and support the Quality Management System.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Requirements:
Must communicate (read and write) in English.
Must use basic measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
Basic four function mathematics, some SPC data collection
Must not be color blind, nor noncorrectably vision impaired.
Education:
High School graduate, or equivalent.
American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Inspector (CQI).
Three - Five (3-5) years of manufacturing experience.
Three - Five (3-5) years inspector experience.
