As part of your responsibilities, you will collaborate closely with a diverse group of students, providing them with guidance, resources, and solutions to assist them in achieving their academic goals. To thrive in this position, it will be crucial for you to cultivate positive relationships with students, establish trust, and communicate effectively. Using your expertise in student engagement and support, you will connect with students digitally and offer ongoing assistance throughout their academic journey, helping them to overcome any obstacles they may face.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with students to identify and secure suitable job openings and externship opportunities within four weeks post-graduation while ensuring proper documentation of their progress and approvals.
- Respond to all student communication (inbound calls, support tickets, and SMS) within 24 hours and provide timely updates to students regarding their concerns.
- Monitor student satisfaction through surveys and work collaboratively with other departments to identify areas for improvement.
- Closeout classes and issue certificates two weeks after the graduation date.Support enrollment, student development, and retention services while ensuring a quality learning experience. Manage a group of assigned students and coach each through their program through proactive and timely outreach. Encourage and support students through daily and weekly outreach as they work to develop skills and knowledge for academic success.
- Offer and teach students how to use resources to help maximize the success of each student.
- Be a liaison for students, enabling them to connect with various departments.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Excellent communication/listening skills, including a pleasant phone manner
- Strong customer support focus and attention to detail
- Two or more years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources and/or counseling essential
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of academic policies and procedures
- Ability to learn technical skills quickly
- Knowledge of the following systems:
• Hubspot
• Canvas

This role requires an understanding of working in and with a virtual workforce. All applicants are expected to be successful working independently in a virtual setting.
