Warehouse Associate
The Warehouse Associate at Zollege serves as the hub for all schools and locations nationwide. The essential duties of this position involve working with the Director of Supplies to keep inventory at optimal levels, process inventory, packaging, labeling, and shipping supplies and products with speed and efficiency, as well as other duties to keep the department running smoothly and efficiently. This position supports our Student and Classroom, Operation Divisions.
This position is fast-paced with a fluctuating volume. Zollege is seeking someone for this position who enjoys a challenge, multitasking, and organization, and is a strong team player.
This is a part-time position (Maximum of 29 hours a week) with an hourly rate starting at $16/hour.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties as assigned:
- Responsible for keeping the supply area neat and well-organized by sorting inventory and stocking the items. Sweeping and light cleaning duties are also necessary to keep the area neat.
- Monitor inventory by completing counts as required.
- The Warehouse Associate must keep inventory well-stocked and sorted so that items are easy to find at all times, which requires good organization skills.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing inventory deliveries.
- Help the company stick to the production schedule by organizing and expediting the workflow.
- Expedite the delivery or distribution of supplies in order to ensure speedy delivery.
- Prepare all orders to be shipped.
- Compares item quantities that are physically present in inventory to that facility's inventory records and ensures proper packaging and labeling of shipments.
- Follow the company and department’s standard operating procedures.
- Works closely with the Director of Supplies.
- Physical ability and agility to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
