We are seeking a PM Warehouse Lead with experience in inventory management, packing orders, and routing logistics to join our team oriented organization.
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The PM Warehouse Lead is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and shipping inventory according to the purchase order and shipping schedules. Duties include loading appropriately labeled orders onto trucks, organizing and storing incoming stock, finalizing end of day paperwork, routing delivery and pick up stops for the following day’s deliveries, and participating in routine warehouse counts and cleaning as outlined by Zone 7’s Food Safety policy. This position has a flexible schedule and generally operates from late morning/early afternoon through late afternoon/early evening, depending on the day’s required tasks and the time of year. 40 hours per week can be expected, with some overtime hours available in the Spring and Fall seasons.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule: pick, load, pack, wrap, label, ship
- Receive and process warehouse stock products: pick, unload, label, store
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality stands high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space space utilization
- Complete diary logs into inventory and report any discrepancies
- Route next day deliveries and pickups utilizing WorkWave software
- Print end of day paperwork: invoices, driver communication logs
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Participate in regularly scheduled warehouse cleaning protocols according to Zone 7’s food safety plan
- Operate and preventively maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures and regulations
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Prior experience working in a warehouse and as a team member
- Familiarity with food safety practices and methods
- Computer skills and a willingness to learn inventory software, databases and systems used by the Zone 7 Warehouse team
- Team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repetitively
- Ability to work safely with strong organizational and time management skills
- Possess a good work ethic
- Fork lift and electric pallet jack training will be provided
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per hour
