Job Description
History of the role:
- Lost a really great resource mid last year and have a very hard time sourcing a replacement- they have been burned by another vendor
- Received some junk resumes with false info.
- Got burned by a Ring who would have one person interview but have another person do the work.
- have been w/out this resource since mid last year. This has affected their productivity quite a bit and they dont have time for another mess.
Skills needed:
- The guy they lost was perfect for team- Dynamic, grew up in network and desk side support, has server experience, understand all aspects of Enterprise structure
- This person needs to be able to be assigned to a project and take on the responsibility, be creative and able to solve, read between the lines, understanding and grasping concepts. *Creativity is very important
- Not a heads down developer: Must have good Comm skills and interact well with team and others across the organization
- Need ITILL certified and excited for continued IT improvement
- ServiceNow Certs: Admin def and DEV cert would be desirable
- Strong Tech skills overall
- CMDB
- Growing into CSDM: experience/ working knowledge
- Service Mapping
- Discovery: skills gap on the team, need networking experience
- ITSM
- must be open to taking on new things and learning
- No hand holding. Need this resource to be able to jump right in
Environment:
- San Diego current version- they upgrade to every version so Tokyo at some point too
- went through a renewal
- App Engine studio
- Have an old HR Engagement they are keeping: catalog item development
- Monthly Sprints

- 2 developers (including this person)
- Tina Owns this platform
- Have a team of Jr devs
