Description
Job Expectations: The Processing Supervisor will be responsible for scheduling processed orders to ensure timely delivery according to customer needs, company guidelines, and physical time constraints. The Processing Supervisor will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Job Duties include:
- Schedule on a single central spreadsheet as set up and administered by the Processing Coordinator to be shared with the sales and operations department.
- Assign proper machines to complete jobs in the most efficient manner.
- Expediting the movement of paperwork through the office to ensure minimum lead times for all processed work. • Enter MP’s and finalize orders when necessary.
- Assist the Operations Manager in making employee evaluations.
- Gather information for efficiency reports as requested by the Operations Manager.
- Perform research on late orders and assist in setting up system shrink lead times and reduce errors.
- Along with the Processing Coordinator, ensure that the proper material is on hand as needed at the downtown facility to complete orders.
- Act as a backup for the Processing Coordinator
Employee Development and Leadership/Productivity:
- Review and analyze employee’s abilities and utilize their strengths to increase productivity and efficiency. This includes meeting the production goals set forth by management.
- Communicate to the staff on areas concerning safety, quality, policies and procedures, and productivity issues.
- Motivate employees to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Lead the employees by using several techniques such as modeling, communication and motivation techniques.
- Analyze and prepare employee reviews to ensure proper feedback is given and to establish a plan with the employee to achieve the companies and employee’s goals and objectives.
- Discipline employees as according to the policies and procedures set forth by the company. Assist in reviewing errors and assist in developing programs to reduce errors.
- Develop and promote teamwork throughout the shift including working with other supervisors and employees in all shifts.
Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
