Zurich North America is looking for a Financial Analyst to work out of our corporate office located in Schaumburg, IL. A qualified can also work out of New York office.
As a Financial Analyst you will act as a liaison between the Life Accident & Health business and finance by providing detailed financial analysis to support decision making for the Business Unit.
Additional responsibilities include:
Life and A&H Work on forecasting P&L.
Work with BU on what their top line results will be for the coming year.
Data extraction and analysis
Working with financial statements.
Required:
Bachelors Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
OR
Completion of Zurich Finance Development Program, including a Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
OR
Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with 4 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
AND
Experience with planning/forecasting models and Power BI or other visualization / scorecard tools
Preferred:
Insurance industry experience
Strong Microsoft Office experience specifically Excel
CPA, CPCU, CFA or CTP
Strong verbal and written communication skills
