Job Description

As a member of the Zurn - Business Intelligence (BI) team, the Business Intelligence Developer Intern will support various reporting environments, drive process improvement and automation on the team, and enable the business to answer questions about their data.  In this position, you will be working with medium to large data sets and interacting with all levels and departments within the Zurn organization.

Key Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions in Snowflake and Tableau
  • Monitor BI ticket queue and resolve customer requests and incidents
  • Partner with business leaders and SMEs to ensure data integrity across reporting efforts
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation on the BI team
  • Creating documentation around BI processes and procedures
  • Other projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university studying towards a Bachelor’s or Master's of Science in Engineering
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer, and 15-20 hours during the school year.
  • Experience with report design, ETL, and writing Microsoft SQL Server queries
  • Desire to work with cross functional teams to drive objectives
  • Self-motivated learner with strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in team environments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
