Zushi bisro is seeking a Dishwasher to join our team!
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment in the kitchen and dishwashing station.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Wash, dry, and sanitize dishes with dishwashing liquid and/or cleaners.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing machine and kitchen area by performing various cleaning duties.
- Use cleaning supplies to clean dishes, glasses, etc.
- Keep kitchen and dish area clean by following procedures, recipes, and safety rules.
- Follow work instructions, including proper portioning of food and time timing.
- Work closely with the Cooks to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure that work areas are maintained and cleaned in a safe manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and methods (i.e., baking, braising, sautéing, roasting, frying, making sauces, etc.)
- Ability to follow directions and work as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. or more frequently.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
