The Staff Accountant prepares/reviews key financial information which is essential to producing reports which are utilized to make decisions for the business. The Staff Accountant also participates in the capture of data which provides key performance indicators. This position provides researching and analyzing accounts, and preparing financial statements. This position collaborates with the Accounting Supervisor and Senior Accountant in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance / Accounting Department, assuming essential responsibilities that will allow them to spend a greater portion of their time on Financial Statement preparation and analysis, Budget and Variance issues, and Forecasting.
