American Trash Management, Inc. provides all four. Phase 1, the Schematic Design phase is where we look at the plans, talk to the stakeholders (owners/operators, architects, engineers, haulers, recyclers, regulators) and develop the framework for the optimal trash system. Once the design is approved, we flesh it out in Phase 2, the Design Development phase, we specify all the equipment and actually lay out the waste and recycling areas. The conclusion of phase 2 is a fully developed trash system which can be incorporated into the architects construction drawings with specifications you can provide your contractors. Additionally, we also provide a complete "Waste & Recycling Plan" you can submit to any regulatory body for approval, use as part of the LEED process or use as your future ongoing "trash management" plan. In Phase 3, Construction, includes providing and installing all the necessary systems (chutes, compactors, carts, lifters, environmental control equipment). Using the specifications we developed in Phase 2, we will provide you a bid for all the equipment and/or help you solicit bids from a variety of equipment dealers and contractors. We, of course, would very much like provide the equipment, but you are not obligated to use our services. Finally, there is ongoing management. This is the core of our mission to reduce the environmental impact, the costs and problems of your trash. Our ongoing management and expertise is essential for making the trash system run smoothly while controlling costs and getting the most for your recyclables. Once we know the final shape of the trash system, we can provide you quote for our monthly services.
