Job Description Job Description Morgan Construction Company, Inc., a Chattanooga, TN based general contractor, is looking for qualified applicants for the immediate position of Vice President of Estimating. This experienced individual will oversee the estimating department, manage project budgets/ proposals, and report directly to the company President. This is a key position to help capitalize on the continuing growth of existing and repeat business base. Key Responsibilities Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to accurately determine the scope of work. Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. Conduct quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings. Collaborate with subcontractors, project managers and clients to ensure accurate pricing and cost control. Analyze bids and proposals from subcontractors to assess competitiveness and qualifications. Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as necessary

Position Purpose Overall responsibility for operating the store at maximum sales and profit with the Company policies and procedures. Job Scope Store Manager is expected to work the number of hours necessary to successfully operate the store within the guidelines of policies and procedures and the additional requirement of his/her supervisors.A typical workweek is 48 to 52 hours in shopping center stores and 45 hours per week minimum in downtown locations.The number of hours worked should be reported on the time sheet, exactly as worked.Any vacation, sick leave, bereavement or any other absences should have prior approval by the District Manager with supporting personnel status mailed to the Personnel Department.Store Manager should submit monthly and weekly schedule to the District Manager in writing, mailed to the District Manager each week so that it is received no later than Saturday prior to the beginning of the workweek.Any deviation from this schedule should have prior approval
