Overview The Dental Assistant (DA) Supervisor is responsible for general oversight of the UHC dental program at all sites. Primary to the DA Supervisor's responsibilities is ensuring effective and efficient delivery of dental services in all UHC dental departments. This exempt position reports directly to the Dental Director. Responsibilities Works closely with the Health Center Managers and Regional Directors to: * Provide leadership and support for the UHC dental program at all sites. * Assist with recruitment and hiring for dental assistant positions for all UHC sites. * Provide training and orientation for dentist, dental hygienist and dental assistant positionsfor all UHC sites. * Provides input and assists with creation and implementation of dental policies and procedures. * Performs RDA functions and coverage as necessary. * Coordinates dental staffing personnel to all offices as needed.
