FoodChain, Inc., based out of The Bread Box in Lexington, KY, is a nonprofit that provides education and hands-on training for indoor food production and processing. Founded in 2011, FoodChain will begin operations in the spring of 2012 through the setup of the regions first indoor aquaponics system. From deep in the heart of the city's core, we will work directly with community members to grow, market and sell products grown in the unlikely location, including tilapia and salad greens.
