Job Description Job Summary: The Sonographer-Echo/Vascular Technologist assists in performing simple and complex diagnostic procedures on patients with cardiac and vascular dysfunctions. Utilizes all cardiac and vascular ultrasound modalities (e.g. 2D, Mode, Doppler, color flow, transesophageal, stress echo, arterial and venous ultrasound imaging and measurements). Produces quality echo and vascular imaging and works with cardiologists throughout the facility including surgery. Prepares records for reviewing by the cardiologists for interpretation. Applies theoretical concepts to clinical practice and continually expands their knowledge base and clinical skills. Performs other duties as needed.
