Job Description Job Description The Staff Accountant lays the foundation of financial reporting for the company. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the month-end close process, and assisting in the daily cash posting process. The Staff Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager and work closely with the Accounts Receivable team. Duties: Financial Accounting: · Prepare monthly standard journal entries · Prepare bank reconciliations · Reconcile balance sheet accounts Fixed Assets: · Manage fixed asset additions, disposals, and depreciation · Prepare property tax returns · Keep records and accounting of the company’s vehicles including: additions, disposals, depreciation, all corresponding journal entries, and location of each vehicle.
