In 1993, Innovative Reinsurance Group (Inn Re) commenced operations as a Managing General Underwriter of Accident & Health and Life Reinsurance and is well known to many companies in that capacity. Following the tragic events of September 11, 2001, there was a significant shrinkage in reinsurance capacity, therefore Inn Re decided to change the focus of their business and is now acting as an intermediary placing reinsurance on behalf of insurance companies who are looking for reinsurance coverage to manage their business risk. Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Inn Re also has satellite offices in Clifton, TX and Cicero, IN. Driven by a philosophy that a unique and innovative method can be created to provide reinsurance for everything from the ordinary to the exotic risks, Inn Res underwriting team has demonstrated a keen sense of risk evaluation through decades of experience in the reinsurance arena.
