Summary and Purpose: This position participates in the activities of the Business Office including general ledger maintenance, payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. This position has responsibility for the daily, monthly and yearly compilation, reconciliation and analysis of the college's finance transactions and statements. Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks/Essential Functions: Performs analysis, maintenance and reconciliation of all financial accounts and records; Prepares journal entries for corrections and adjustments. Works with college staff, answering questions and providing account information and data requested. Processes general ledger month-end close out; Gather departmental charge activity and post to general ledger. Compiles and prepares financial information for college, state, and federal reports. Assists in the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements. Monitors state, federal and local grants, for both fiscal activity and compliance assurance.
